We’re now 10 days away from the Kiira8 Tournament, and teams should be entering their final preparation stretch.

This year’s event brings together 8 competitive teams, including a visiting side from DRC Congo. The tournament will run from 5th to 14th December, spread across two weekends of intense basketball.

Teams will be grouped into two pools of four. They will battle through the group stages, and the top two teams in each group will qualify for the semi-finals, leading up to the finals.

Management has confirmed that all games will be played using full game time, a shift from the running time format used in the recent KT Rach Tournament. This means more action, more strategy, and a better competitive environment.

Prizes:

  • Winner: UGX 3,000,000
  • 1st Runner-Up: UGX 2,000,000
  • 2nd Runner-Up: UGX 1,000,000

A Challenger Cup will also be held for the bottom two teams in each group, with the winners taking home UGX 800,000.

The organizing committee is finalizing logistics, meals, and on-ground coordination to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all players and fans.
