The Lady Jaguars will deal with the newcomers first before running any other business in the league. They will begin their campaign on the very first day, February 6, against the Pearl Queens at Lugogo, and then take on the Victoria She Crocs on February 11 at the Den in Kira.
The ladies will resume business against their biggest rival and defending champions, the JKL Dolphins, on Sunday, February 15, at Lugogo Arena, and then face another rival, the KCCA Leopards, on Friday, February 20, at YMCA.
Their first March games will kick off against the Magic Stormers on March 1 at YMCA, followed by:
• March 7: KIU Rangers
• March 11: UPDF L’T Hawks
• March 14: Nabisunsa
• March 18: Angels
• March 25: Miracle Eaglets
• March 27: UCU Lady Canons
Now clearly, the lady Jaguars have a thing of setting tasks and accomplishing them. They did it last year and the year before that and they got what they wanted. Now the goal is to win the championship and it starts with the small things, the court discipline, the chemistry and the confidence they exhibit when playing the basketball.
We have all the weapons to execute this, our offense is stalked with the best players, the defensive ratings just improved with the biggest signing so we should be able to take care of business.
