Kira (Aug. 9, 2025) — Nabisunsa came to play. They moved the ball well, knocked down their shots, and stayed disciplined on defense. They even outscored the Lady Jaguars from deep (41% efficiency against 39%). But when you dig yourself into a first-half hole against this team… there’s no climbing out.

The Lady Jaguars started the game hot, dropping 21 in the opening quarter to Nabisunsa’s 14. Aziida Lubega set the tone early, pouring in buckets from everywhere. By halftime, she was on a tear, leading a relentless offensive push that had the Jaguars up 43–25.

From there, it was all about control. The third quarter saw the Jags keep their foot on the gas with quick runs and airtight defense. Mary Priscilla was a nightmare in full-court press — racking up steals, splashing threes, and frustrating Nabisunsa’s ball handlers. Mambo joined the scoring party, matching Aziida’s 16 points, while Priscilla added 13 of her own.

To their credit, Nabisunsa fought to the end, making a late push in the fourth. But the damage was long done. Final score: 81–54, Lady Jaguars.

Debutant Sangare got her first taste of NBL action, finishing with 3 points but showing flashes of what she could bring to the playoff stage.
