Forward, Peter Sifuma has expressed the urgency for a streak of wins while looking ahead to their Wednesday showdown against Livingstone Basketball Club
A 79-62 victory over the KCCA Leopards on Sunday snapped a three game losing streak that was in danger of turning a season full of improvements into a sad ending.
A match against second from bottom Livingstone presents an opportunity for the team to win two straight ahead of a tough clash on Friday against the UCU Canons.
However Sifuma, does not want to look past Wednesday as he believes that the best course for the team is to take it game by game
“Its important that we string some wins together but we also have to focus on one game at a time and hopefully do the right things that will get us the victory”, he told the club website.
Assistant Coach, Cuthbert Nkoba also believes that this is the right game to kick start momentum heading into the deep end of the regular season.
“Snapping the losing streak was the easy part. Maintaining it to create momentum is our focus now, this starts on Wednesday”, he said.
The Black Jaguars currently sit in fifth place on the table with an 8-5 record one game shy of the second seed.
