The black Jaguars are now having a back-to-back win after clashing with the Ndejje Angels and emerging triumphant with an impressive 82-61 win. The Jaguars’ winning streak continues to soar as they clinch their second consecutive win in the NBL.
The standout performance of the game belonged to Kevin Moru, the sharpshooting sniper for the black Jaguars, who dazzled spectators with a remarkable display of skill, contributing 21 points, 5 assists, and 2 rebounds. Moru’s precision on the court captured the attention of all, making him the focal point of the match.
However, it wasn’t just Moru who shone brightly for the Jaguars. Aaron Eboyu emerged as another star player particularly in the crucial last quarter. Eboyu’s significant contributions of 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists proved pivotal, demonstrating his prowess on both ends of the court. Despite facing relentless fouls, Eboyu remained unstoppable, leaving the Angels struggling to contain his impact.
The last quarter unfolded as a showcase of free shots, emphasizing the Jaguars’ dominance throughout the game. With a secure lead on the scoreboard, the Jaguars sealed their victory convincingly, leaving no room for doubt about their supremacy.
As the Jaguars celebrate another well-deserved win, the question on everyone’s mind is, “Can they maintain this momentum and continue their winning streak?”
Speaking in an interview, Coach Leo for the black Jaguars was quite impressed with the performance of the team, “The season has started off well on a good note, we focused lots on building the teams’ capacity to compete and win games from pre season. It is evident they’ve got a consistency in performance which is motivating us as the coaching team. If only the players love what they’re doing, we have no reason to doubt our performance.”
The NBL fraternity can’t help but anticipate the next thrilling chapter in this team’s journey as they aim for continued success in the league.
