Kira (June 21, 2025) — The JT Lady Jaguars suffered a 52–82 road defeat to the JKL Lady Dolphins last night on Friday at the Arena.
The Dolphins started the game by winning the tip, followed by a jump shot from former JT guard Letaru Ruth, who ruthlessly handled us with 6 steals, 5 rebounds, and 14 points. The Lady Jaguars fought in a trade of baskets to make 14 points, while JKL finished the quarter with 19.

In the second quarter, the Lady Jaguars added another 14 points, while the Dolphins made a huge 24-point run to make it 43–28 by halftime. JKL then made a 9–0 run at the beginning of the third quarter until Mary Priscilla made a floating jump shot with 5:30 left in the game. The Lady Dolphins then launched transitions spearheaded by Nsubuga Tamasha to extend their lead, while the offense slowed down significantly on the side of JT.
The quarter ended with the Lady Jaguars making only 9 points throughout the entire quarter, and JKL leading with 61 points against 37. Just like that, we couldn’t even come close to the Dolphins in the last quarter—even after Shakira made a three-point jump shot at the beginning of the final period.
The team committed 8 turnovers and missed over 14 shots from the field. We settled for 3-of-27 from the three-point line and captured 38 rebounds in total.
