The White Jaguars are just unstoppable at this point

Off the bench after finishing with 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists,Mary Priscilla looked as though she could even put up a better show.
Sunday morning was a strong performance for the White Jaguars in their 109-29 blowout of the Kampala Eagles. Sandra Wangeshi and Sarah Ageno both tied for 17 points, while Rhoda Naggita settled for 13 points further adding to the dominance.

For the most part, the white Jaguars held the Kampala Eagles in check with 16 assists—Ruth Letaru had 5 of those-11 out of 25 shots from behind the arc. Gone are the days when the team relied on particular players for shooting; yesterday, it seemed as though everyone on the roster was clearly under instructions by Gen.Sudi Ulanga to fire at will. From Brenda Kayaga to Ruth Tushemerirwe, everyone was locked and loaded to produce as many points as possible.

Speaking of Ruth Tushemerirwe, she was impressively remarkable with 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists proving her mentle in the absence of Among Annet, who was sick, and Mercy Batamuliza who had a bad day with only one point. Ruth proved that she could perform just as well as the other center players earning her a nod from Coach Sudi. She had a 23:23 playtime, impressing the crowd with how steady and physically dominant she was becoming.
The White Jaguars didn’t just make a bunch of threes and twos to beat the Kampala Eagles; they threw their entire organizational force behind them. Never had I seen the ladies so committed to finishing up this strong. By the end of the first half, the Kampala Eagles had just 10 points against the white Jaguars’ 60 effectively ending the game as a contest. At this point, Eagles fans could only watch in dismay as their team struggled to finish the game. They went on to add just 9 and 10 points in the third and fourth quarters respectively, whereas the Lady Jaguars averaged 27 points per quarter. The Kampala Eagles were not really good at offense except for Pennita Nabakooza who tried to convert in the 3rd quarter to make 10 points. Their defense was so BAD as they let the white Jaguars shoot without hesitations. Per the tracking, most of the shots made were wide-open (the closest defender was 6+ feet away) or lightly contested.
The Jaguars’ defensive discipline was equally noteworthy, committing only 10 turnovers, many of which were minor errors in the paint and loafing passes. On the other side, they were able to make 23 points off turnovers from the Eagles. If anything, the White Jaguars played basketball at its finest. Yet, there is a prevailing sentiment that the team can be even better. “What we are right now is far different from what we were at the beginning of this season, You don’t just wake up and decide to get serious for the playoffs; you prepare for it during the regular season, and that is what we have been doing” said coach Sudi.

Team Captain Sarah Ageno stressed the need to stay wake and keep working out for the playoffs.
“As we get to the playoffs, it doesn’t matter which position you finished in; everyone is at zero, and we need to put in much more effort to rise to the top,” said Brenda Kayaga.
