The JT Lady Jaguars continued their impressive Round One campaign, extending their winning streak—with only one loss so far—after a dominant 77–35 victory over the Miracle Ravens at the Jaguars Den.

From the outset, the Jaguars asserted control, combining defensive intensity with efficient offensive execution to overwhelm their opponents. By halftime, they had established a comfortable 39–21 lead, setting the foundation for what would become a one-sided contest. The second half further highlighted their dominance, as they held the Ravens to just 14 points—7 in each quarter—effectively shutting down any hopes of a comeback.

Offensively, the Jaguars delivered a well-balanced performance, with four starters finishing in double figures. Brenda Kayaga led the way with 16 points, shooting an efficient 50% from beyond the arc. She was supported by Maimuna and Sarah Ageno, who contributed 13 and 14 points respectively. Mercy Batamuliza added a strong presence in the paint, recording a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

The Ravens struggled to find rhythm throughout the game, largely due to their ball security issues. Committing 20 turnovers, they allowed the Jaguars to capitalize with multiple transition scoring opportunities, further widening the gap. Even at their lowest scoring output in a quarter (15 points), the Jaguars still outperformed the Ravens’ production in each of the final two periods.

With this emphatic win, the Jaguars now shift focus to a more demanding test against the unbeaten UCU Lady Canons. Friday’s matchup presents an opportunity to challenge one of the league’s top sides and potentially bring an end to their perfect run.
