The JT Jaguars face the KCCA Panthers in round two of the National Basketball League on Sunday in desperation mode as they look to avoid going winless in four.

Defeats against the Namuwongo Blazers, UCU Canons and Sommet have left us in sixth place with a 7-5 record.

Ironically, if the playoffs began today, its Sunday’s opponents that we would be playing. Further highlighting the caution of urgency ahead of matchday.

There will be confidence heading into the game after a 83-70 victory over the Panthers in the first round.

Peter Sifuma will look to have a bounce back game offensively after getting eight last time to go with 11 rebounds. He is currently averaging an 11 pt, Reb double double in his debut season with the team.

In what is expected to be a close game, the fine margins always come in question and this time it’s the Free Throw

10/26 last time out is not expected at this level and that has been an emphasis during this weeks practice

Coach Sudi Ulanga emphasizes the need to do the right things correctly in order to do the double over the Leopards

“Kcca is very good side, very physical with sidea lot on both ends of the floor. We almost have to be perfect to beat them”, he told the club website
