On their 3rd game night, JT Jaguars have their hands full facing a confident Blazers team on a 3-game winning streak.

The JT Jaguars finished off the City Oilers with strong performances from Eboyu Aaron, Elijah Adakun, and Duncan. Down several key players, Sudi dug deep into his reserves and pulled out some unusual lineups. Kasasa was called on for 19 real rotation minutes, and there was even a brief Tong appearance.
Sudi picked the right game to test things out, but it also felt like an attempt to keep his players fresh throughout the game. Clearly, the absence of some key players makes this team short-handed, but they all seem fired up to play and win all day. The Blazers, on the other hand, come into this matchup fresh off a win against the JKL Dolphins just two days ago. They are currently playing great basketball, posing some challenges and a few questions for this JT Jaguars team.

Will JT Have Enough in the Tank?
The JT Jaguars have done a great job so far, winning their first two games, especially after a big win against the 10-time champions. Just as I said, we are short-handed compared to the fully armored Blazers. They boast a deep, fully constituted roster that is well-talented and experienced. That sets them up nicely as the team to beat.
“Yes, our 10-man team is more than enough to win the game. We did that against the Oilers and we saw the results, so we are all good to go. All we have to do is defend and take more care of the basketball” said Coach Sudi.
The experienced and deep roster advantage goes to the Blazers, but the JT Jaguars have what they need to win this game. Their reinforcement, Peter Sifuma, should be enough to offset the Blazers and put up a good game.
“Performance, to me, is all I am about in this game—not even winning. We just need to perform better than the way we played against Livingstone or the City Oilers. When you perform well, you win games—simple analysis.” Sudi ulanga

Two of the Hottest Teams in the League Face Off – Which Streak Ends?
The Blazers boast the longest winning streak in the league, with three straight wins in their three games, but the Jaguars and Panthers are right behind with 2/2 in the games played so far.
Since the beginning of the league games, the Blazers seem to arguably have the best offensive power. With notable players like the trio from the Oilers and Joel Lokoji, they are stacked. Peter Obleng is another powerhouse from the Titans, so technically, 80% of the team is new—and they are big names in the game.
“Forget about the past Namuwongo Blazers. This is a completely new team, far different from that of last year. So we need to be assertive and do the right things to win the game.”
They will have to battle against Duncan, Elijah, or Aaron, who are all in the middle of a stretch of brilliant basketball. This is the second time Elijah is in the starting five, and for obvious reasons—the man is putting in a lot of work, both in the paint and beyond the arc. Duncan’s relentless facilitation and drive to the basket were absolutely brilliant in the past two games. And in the center, Chuma and Peter have everything under control.
There are other areas where this game may be decided, but the matchup between these two teams is one to keep an eye on.
This game will be a good test of the team’s performance this season and how they can hold up in the league.
